We work 60 (and expected to grow) hectares in a winery in Castellina, surrounded by Tuscan olive trees and gently kissed by the breeze of the Tyrrhenian sea. we extend our production in 6 other regions across Italy with our partner viticulturists, producing four-handed high-quality wines together.

Bocciamatta - Celebrate Your Life

Bocciamatta is the perfect companion of those unexpected crazy moments of life that deserve a special celebration. Bocciamatta means Crazy Bottle in Italian, and its sparkling soul highlights festive occasions with a lively taste and a surprising white painted bottle, that can be reused. There are plenty of good reasons to uncork the joy of Bocciamatta, you choose your own crazy moment. Venetian limestone, sandstone and clay give the grapes their unmistakable notes of personality. This wine, produced with Charmat method, is the perfect way to celebrate the happiness of life.

Biglietto - Ticket to The Unseen

Biglietto is a ticket to a journey through some of the most iconic wines from Southern Italy. Biglietto Apulia and Sicily unveil their best kept secrets with Primitivo, Negroamaro, Nero d’Avola and Nerello Mascalese. The grapes are cultivated in breathtaking vineyards immersed in slow paced life communities. Apulian tufaceous and calcareous rocks and Sicilian mineral volcanic soil give these wines their unmistakable Southern personality. A bottle refinement in underground wine cellars completes the work.

Eversivo - Changing Status Quo

Eversivo is a sparkling wine concealed in a matte black painted bottle that amplifies the pleasure of discovery. A perfectly well kept secret, a treasure chest that reveals its content little by little. The stunning black look of the bottle is a feast for the eyes even before it is opened. The inner beauty of this Prosecco DOC, made with grapes grown on gravel, provides an unprecented impulse to sensorial perception. Eversivo is the new status quo, after the old one has been disrupted.

Opera Maestra - Winemakers Fingerprint Edition

Opera Maestra is our culture and our roots combined with modern winemaking techniques. Tenuta Opera Maestra was founded in Castellina, Tuscany, in the middle of the twentieth century. Family-run since ever, it has grown over time sustainably, thanks to the innate passion and respect for wine traditions. Low yields per hectare ensure protection for the properties of the soil, whilst a non-intensive production safeguards the quality of the grapes. This label is the truest expression of our philosophy, as our fingerprint testifies.

Poggio Manfredi - Supertuscan

Poggio Manfredi is our eulogy to Alberico Manfredi, example par excellence of the virtues of chivalry. Alberico Manfredi devoted his entire life to preserving the autochtonous authenticity of the Tuscan territory. In his honour we created this noble Supertuscan made with 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot. Harvested by hand only when perfectly ripe, Poggio Manfredi is elevated in oak barrel 3 years before completing its maturation in the bottle. It is the wine transposition of a great man who really embodied the deepest soul of Tuscany.

Retroscena - Essence of Land

Retroscena is a tribute to the many different people that pour all their effort into each bottle. Making wine can be a demanding, challenging, full of uncertainty business. One single hail storm can ruin one year’s hard work, and the same goes for a drought just a little too long. We want to celebrate all the brave hearted persons that put their fears aside and give their contribution to the making of these wines. The labels portrait their proud faces, while the bottles contain hard work, passion and tradition: the essence of the land.

Soliloquio - It Does All The Talking

Soliloquio is the story of the Italian territory told by a collection of its most prestigious wines. A tale that unfolds from the clay of Veneto to the calcareous soil of Langhe, from the lava turf in Campania to the rocks of Southern Italy. Every wine of the Soliloquio line is a pure expression of its own territory. Inspired by a constant urge for quality and an obsessive pursuit of beauty, these bottles narrate about passion, elegance and refinement. Here is a hymn to Italy’s most representive grapes.

Strato - Pinot Grigio Friuli

Strato in Italian means “Layer”, like those in which its vines sink their roots. Vineyards are in the village of Cordenons, Friuli, Italy’s top white wine region, where 40 million years ago the sea covered the land. A true difference is made by the red clayey-calcareous soil, the sedimentary rock, the richness of iron oxide and the uniqueness of its microclimate between the Mediterranean and the continental characterized by significant temperature excursions that allow a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes donating minerality, sapidity and strength. Award-winning wine, winner of 90 James Suckling points and Double Gold Gilbert & Gaillard.

StraBIOrdante - Giving Back to Nature

StraBIOrdante is a range of organic vegan wines that put love for the environment first. Our production is certified by BIOAGRICERT, applies a quality control at every step, from producer to consumer, acting as guarantor of a supply chain that promotes organic wines it’s produced according to nature. StraItalian Organic is a double-edged bond with the Earth, it is a pure and direct expression of nature, it is a promise of sustainability and ecocompatibility The labels are made with recycled natural paper and the bottles are lighter and have a lower CO2 impact.

Tostorreddu - Heart of Sardinia

Tostorreddu is a warm and veracious wine, rooted in Sardinia, a truly distinctive blend. It means stubborn in Sardinian dialect, to portrait the character of a truly unique blend. It is made with the quintessential of Sardinia’s native grape varieties: Carignano del Sulcis (40%) Cannonau (30%) and Bovale (30%). Grown on sand and gravel, it matures 20 months in oak barrels before completing its refining in the bottle for 4 more months. Woodsy scent, tobacco notes and a kiss of jammy fruit: Sardinia in a glass.

Virtuosismi showcases the skills and expertise of master winemakers who have dedicated their lives to the love for the soil. Making a good wine is an art and each bottle, whether it be Barbaresco, Amarone or Barolo, it’s a unique masterpiece. Piedmont and Veneto give birth to grapes that the hands of expert artisans raise to a higher level. Virtuosismi is skill, competence, technical knowledge, and craftsmanship above all.
