The Travaglino estate is located in Calvignano, which is a little town based in the Oltrepo' Pavese. The area, in the south of Lombardy, that wedge from the fertile Po' Valley to the Mediterranean Sea, is well known for having a bunch shape which bounds with the regions of Liguria, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna. The estate has the privilege to raise 400 hectares in a single batch – Two hundred of them are forests destined as a wild hog hunting reserve, which, has been done with the purpose to maintain away the poachers. Hundred and twenty hectares are arable lands and the remaining eighty hectares are vineyards. Moreover, within the property, there are 12 farmsteads, a historic village and an inn with restaurant and few rooms.

Tenuta Travaglino - Monteceresino Cruasè - Classic Method Rosè Brut D.O.C.G.

The Montécerésino Cruasé is obtained from natural soft squeezing of the best Pinot Noir grapes grown in the homonymous plot located in the "higher zone" of the company's property (380 mt). It is aged on yeasts for 24 months. Gently natural rosy color, fragrance full of hints of berries, blackcurrant, redcurrant, raspberry and iris on red jam background. In the mouth it is harmonious with a pleasant aftertaste of bitter almond. Thanks to its great complexity olfactory taste, it may be paired with any meal, well supporting meat preparations. Serving  temperature 6/8 ° C.

Wine Making: Pinot Noir 100% is produced by the Monteceresino vineyard by short cold maceration and subsequently soft pressed. Only 50% of the must extract is selected, and then fermented at a controlled temperature

Aging in Bottle: Laid down in our centuries-old cellars, re-fermented and refined slowly for at least 24 months before being disgorged

Description: It has a delicate, natural pink colour, a rich fragrance with notes of wild berries, cassis, currants, raspberries and iris on a background of red jam

Pairing: An eclectic Classic Method that accompanies first courses and grilled fish, excellent with shellfish and fish carpaccio
