Brand 813 Ottotredici was founded in 2008 thanks to an intuition of Annalisa and technical capabilities of Mr. Paolo Panerai.
Paolo that initially was the implementer of the creative desires of Annalisa, made consulting on fabrics, printing and coloring. Annalisa and Paolo, they both followed the process of cutting and hand washing scarves in laundries. And there , they developed the unique and unmistakable softer fragrance that makes scarves so soft and perfumed.
A combination of modal and silk, modal and cashmere scarves are made with natural dyes and prints with recurring themes such as horses, dogs and nature, the world loved by the fashion designer and from wich she draws inspiration.
Day after day their business relationship has become more solid and similar to a fraternal friendship. So now it could be said that this adventure is become a true story. 813, this unique brand, whose name has given by the union of the birth dates of Paolo (February, the 8th) and Annalisa (February, the 13th), create an association of numbers that represents a butterfly, symbol of freedom for both.
The desire to be involved in the fashion world has always been their great passion and it has led Annalisa to play with her thoughts, turning dreams into “Emotions to Wear”.
Thus was born the first collection, “Autumn – Winter 2009” for Ottotredici.
Initially business was interesting only Italy, especially Veneto and Lombardia. Next years, 813 with its glamorous products was able to extend its own market in Europe and in others Continents.
In Italy Alessandro Squarzi Showroom, which immediately trusted in the product, allowed 813 to sell in shops like “Antonia” in Milano.
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland thanks to Showroom Ventrella scarves was carried in stores like “Soer” in Oelde and “Daniels” in Bornheim.
In US Ottotredici has realized a collaboration with Jenny Chase and Andrew Bernstein Showroom, that has highlighted the products in the American territory in some of the most important stores. Here some of the bests: “Angela H.” in Napa Valley, “Wendy Foster” in Santa Barbara, “Susan” in S. Francisco, “Jill Roberts”, “Barney’s” and “Lost & Found” in L.A., “Savannah” in Santa Monica and “Abejas” in Texas.
Season after season Ottotredici has been able to give space to news: in prints, fabrics, patterns not only scarves, but also blankets, ponchos and capes.
The work even increasing, commercial, administrative and shipping offices are pressing ahead with passion and satisfaction in seeing what began as an adventure and become a solid true.
On social networks, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, 813 is collecting more and more fans. Every day Staff tries to find out new ideas in posting, in order to attract people to its world. “Likes” are steadily increasing. Year after year, progress is palpable and the company finally expands in Asia thanks to a solid cooperation with distributors in Japan.
In Year 2013 another milestone has been reached by Ottotredici, which has opened in Padova (the city of artist Annalisa) its first flagship store. The shop, furnished and studied in all details by Annalisa, followed in commitment from all Staff, came life in the historical center of the town.
The company is growing and with great satisfaction between end of year 2013 and beginning of year 2014, Ottotredici has received the certification of the products: created, edited, designed and finished entirely in Italy.
The “crazy” fantasy of Annalisa and the tenacity of Paolo has permitted it.
Now company proudly counts about 800 customers: 25% part of the Italian market (you can find 813 in stores as “Gerard Loft” in Firenze, “Babylon Bus” in Prato, “Zoe” in Pietrasanta, “Zita Fabiani” and “Le Mlo’” in Roma ). The rest 75% is part of the foreign market where you could find 813 at some of the most important department stores such as “Barney’s” and “Henry Lehr” in NYC, “ Victoire” in Paris and Sait-Tropez, “Mad” and “Blonda” in Barcelona and “Sohr Rusche” in Germany.
