Fonteverde awaits you in the magnificent Medici palace of San Casciano dei Bagni, a precious medieval village nestled in the rolling hills of Siena. Commissioned in 1607 by Grand Duke Ferdinand I, the splendid residence is a tribute to the Italian Renaissance. The shapes, materials and furnishings are treated in detail: everything seems to recall the glories of the past, while at the same time enriching itself with the most innovative contemporary comforts. The Bioaquam Pool

The multisensory path of the large Bioaquam pool allows you to rediscover your balance and harmony. The large pool takes you from inside the room, with its glass window, to the outside overlooking the panoramic landscape of the Val d’Orcia. It welcomes you with massaging jets, underwater seats and beds, and hydro-massage areas. It is like a warm embrace that guides you from the inside to the outside, from the muffled silence to the sounds of nature.

Lux Thermal Pool

The warmth, the sense of weightlessness, and the regenerating power of thermal water are combined with the sensations brought on by light and colours. Vincenzo Balzano - The Mastery of Our Chef

Original creations, Mediterranean flavors and fresh lightness in balance between flavors and colors that delight the palate and enchant the sight. The essence of chef Vincenzo Balzano's cuisine is to create dishes with intense flavors. The finest palates will be surprised by excellent dishes, connoisseurs by "gourmet" menus accompanied by tastings of fine wines. For those with special needs the chef offers dietary specialities. For children, however, particularly delicious, appetizing and colorful dishes. The chef creates a dietary pastry, using alternative unrefined sugars. A dish above all is the mascarpone gateau and the pastries made only with almonds, Fonteverde's must haves. Pleasant cooking courses are also organised, so you can have fun cooking and using traditional Tuscan recipes.

La Corte Restaurant

The La Corte restaurant, dedicated to breakfast and lunch, today has a new elegance. The large windows that open onto the terrace and the landscape illuminate the interiors.

Ferdinando I Restaurant

It is a historic and unique environment, inside the Renaissance portico. Today it is completely renovated. The large windows overlooking the Val d'Orcia punctuate the spaces and open up to natural light or the enchantment of the night view.

Heliport and Electric Car Charging Station

Fonteverde has a landing and take-off area for helicopters, directly inside the resort. Our guests can arrive and depart with maximum comfort, speed and privacy that only this vehicle can offer. We can organize transfers to and from the airports of Florence or Rome or to other destinations with a helipad. To provide this service with maximum customization we collaborate with the best passenger helicopter transport agencies. We also provide guests with a charging station for electric and hybrid cars, which makes every move with the most sustainable means even easier and more comfortable. So guests can charge the batteries directly in the hotel, during the night or in moments of relaxation and always have the car with full autonomy without traveling or waiting.
