Our Philosophy
Fondo del Sole came about when three Italians, Salvo Ferraro and the Buoso brothers, Gian Paolo and Valeriano, decided to produce and sell Italy's Finest Wines under a single registered trademark.
“Our goal is to let the international marketplace discover those great wines usually served only to visitors lucky enough to come to our country. We believe that when we export a wine we are also exporting a sip of our culture, we are sharing the bouquet of our emotions.”
The Districts
Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Barolo DOCG and Barbaresco DOCG are just some of the great autochthonous grape varieties cultivated here on the Italian peninsula.
Because of its ideal climate and the undisputed talent of its winemakers, our country has long been a point of world reference when it comes to wine.
The Wineries
Emboldened by many years of experience both in the production and sale of Italian wine, we felt our mission was to give the international market exactly what it wants: a single brand featuring a carefully chosen selection of high quality wines, wines representative of the great italian varieties.
Each of our wines is both a unique yet diversified expression of our country’s winemaking heritage. With this basic philosophy, we set out to offer the world great Italian wines from autochthonous varieties.
