About Me

Eliza Oynus, born in Tallinn (Estonia), studied at the University of Technology and Design in St. Petersburg, Karlsruhe (University Kit) and Venice (IUAV University).

In her works she represents nature and flora with its blooming beauty, its fauna with its strength and calm.

Using a mixed technique with threads of fabric, oil and gold leaves that give volume and brightness to the work as well as a sense of reality and depth, the picture becomes material and invites you to explore.

The tree was used in ancient Greece and Egypt as a symbol of vitality, strength and harmony.

By planting a new tree we create new life, characterizing our true essence, what we are now and what we can be tomorrow, it is perfect in all its imperfections.

It grows towards the sky with its branches and in the earth with its roots.

With each season the color of the leaves changes, the tree regenerates and then flourishes again.

All living things have their history and their energy, but what unites is the light that embraces every creature: without light neither growth nor life could exist.
