Ivana Ciabatti’s story begins at Castel Focognano, a small town immersed in the Casentino forests in the province of Arezzo. Surrounded by the customs typical of rural life, she developed a real love for her land and its traditions, dreaming of a better future for herself and her loved ones.

In 1984 she become one of the founders of Italpreziosi S.p.A., a leading company in the precious metals field, and a successful investor in gold.

Innovative and creative she developed new projects based on the principles of sustainability, ethics and respect for the environment and human resources, becoming the sole director of the company, without ever overlooking her family and friends.

Today she is active in a wide range of humanitarian projects and cultural activities in Italy, Brazil and Papua New Guinea.

Unanimously elected National President of Confindustria Federorafi, today she is also Vice President of the European Federation of Jewelery (EFJ) and is part of the Board of Directors of the Responsible Jewelery Council, an authoritative international organization that promotes responsible practices in the context of processing gold and diamond jewelery.

Ivana is also vice president and CEO of Goldlake IP, a company that deals with trade and refining of ethical gold.

Among the awards related to humanitarian and cultural projects, the entrepreneur is today: President of the Rondine Cittadella della Pace Foundation; President of the Entrepreneurs for Peace; President of the Jury of the “Casentino Prize”, Economics section.
