New European Regulation
The entire Avvenice portal reflects the criteria of the new European regulation about the protection of personal data, mandatory from 25 May 2018, and operates in full application of the new regulations.
According to article 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree n. 196 of 2003, data provided during the registration phase are gathered and used for shipping and billing purpose. In case of missing data the order will not be processed.
Avvenice shall undertake to keep the data in confidence and to not reveal it to not authorized people, neither to use it for purposes different than the ones described, except for explicit authorization of the client. The data could be communicated, subject to acceptance of confidentiality agreement, to collaborators and delegated employees in charge of the data storage and execution of the return process described above. The data would be exclusively communicated for executing the return process. Furthermore the data can be communicated, upon request, to the competent authorities as per law.

Regarding the use of personal data, the client can exercise directly and in any moment the rights at article 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree n.196 of 2003, in particular the client can obtain:
- the source of the personal data;
- the purpose and the way of use of the personal data;
- the applied logic in case of use of the personal data through electronic tools;
- the identification details of the owner, of the delegated employees and of the appointed reppresentitive according to article 5, sub-paragraph 2;

It is important to note that Avvenice offers maximum security to its users, both regarding the personal information and the payments thanks to the SSL encrypted protection that is fully active across all the portal. SSL is the highest security standard for sending sensitive information through the web.
Avvenice also will never get hold, never will have visibility on the data of the credit cards of its customers, because all the payments will be made outside of the portal, on the servers of banking partners carefully chosen by Avvenice for their security and reliability.
