In the heart of Valpolicella Classic - Since 1948 We Produce High Quality Wine
Storia
Our winery covers an area of 14 hectares over looking the famous village of St. Giorgio Ingannapoltron, known around the world for its marvelous ancient church, cloister, and archeological excavation.
In the beginning, the late Carlo Boscaini (who lived to the venerable age of 102 drinking wine in modest quantity but high quality) produced wine with great passion, his son Arturo Ernesto supporting him.
In our day we, his nephews Carlo and Mario, continue this old and passionate pursuit, introducing new technologies and new avant-garde processing both in wineyards and in the winery.
We only sell wine from our own grapes production, our vineyards are cultivated in a traditional way with little modern equipment, and minimum use of chemical products. We produce about 60.000 bottles of VALPOLICELLA, VALPOLICELLA SUPERIORE, VALPOLICELLA SUPERIORE RIPASSO, AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA DOCG, RECIOTO DELLA VALPOLICELLA DOCG.
I Vigneti
In the beginning, the late Carlo Boscaini (who lived to the venerable age of 102 drinking wine in modest quantity but high quality) produced wine with great passion from leased land.
He succeded in aquiring this winery in 1948, and then with his son Arturo Ernesto, worked with care and passion in the production of the grape and it s transformation into wine.
In our day, his young nephews Carlo and Mario continue this old and passionate pursuit. In memory of and gratitude to the grandfather, the winery still bears his name today.
From 1990 to 1996 we have carried out a large investment in land to update and modernize the vineyards and added new cultivation systems. From 1996 to today we have updated the cellars, improving the structure and the equipment. The vineyards are cultivated with INTEGRATED SYSTEMS (minimum use of chemical products). The pruning and harvesting are done by hand.

Here we recall all the teachings received from grandfather Carlo and dad Ernesto. In the vintages where the result satisfies us, we keep this wine produced with the grapes of the old company vineyards in large oak barrels. The grapes do not come from a specific vineyard.
This ample wine comes from a rigorous selection of the best grapes from the harvest. These are then put aside to dry for 5 months to concentrate the essence of the fruit. The alcoholic fermentation process is done slowly at a low temperature to allow the best possible mix of the flavours and aromas which are characteristic of this particular area of...
From the slopes of the Grola hills in the heart of the classic Valpolicella region, we bring you a new wine, Zane (tsar-nay). This wine is born of the time-honoured blend of corvina, corvinone and rondinella grapes using the traditional method of refermenting or "ripasso" with Amarone. Zane has a delicate flavour of red berry fruits with a hint of spices...

Already an intense cherry red, the colour of this wine deepens with maturity. Deliciously spicy on the nose with a sweeter vanilla afternote and a lovely robust fruity finish. A well structured wine.
A ruby red wine which assails the nostrils with an aroma of fresh mint. Soft and round on the palate this red has a sensationally fruity finish which makes it an ideal accompaniment to pasta and cold salami dishes. Ideally served at room temperature.
Ancient in origin, this delicate dessert wine is full of charm and has been enjoyed across the centuries. A wine par excellence. The prolonged drying of the grapes, even longer than those of the Amarone wine, gives rise to a higher degree of fruitiness and sweetness in the resulting wine. Not all of the sugar in the original grapemust turns to alcohol...
A wine obtained from the pressing of Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Cortese and Malvasia grapes which have been air-dried for 6 months.
The name of the Molinara grape comes from the vernacular ‘mulinara' or ‘from the mill' because the skins of this grape are so plum-like as to appear dusted with flour. The resulting wine is floor-wax pink in colour with a medium body and is delicate on the nose. This traditional grape produces a simple wine, light in colour but genuinely quoffable.
It consumes within three years from the vintage accompanying fish dishes, pasta dishes and white meat.
This fine grappa is produced using distillation of the amarone grape must at the Bonollo distillery in Padova. It is intensely fragrant and highly smooth with characteristic fruitiness and a decisive, persistent finish.
This prized grappa is made at the Scaramellini distillery using the traditional method of distilling the amarone grape must in copper flasks over a direct flame. The grappa is then allowed to rest in oak casks for 24 months.
From olives cultivated on our own estate using minimun intervention or spraying. Hand picked and cold-pressed within 3 days. The olives used for the production of extra-virgin olive oil come from local and typical varieties: Nostrano, Favarol e Grignano. Naturally decanted without filtering.
