Welcome to The Temple of Termesana
A fairytale setting of pure radiant health, where the peaceful serenity of nature flows freely into the spa world as that most primordial of essences: water.
This is our strength, and our uniqueness. Our concept of beauty is based on water and on a method which blends ancient traditions with innovative techniques. The sulphur springs of Bad Moos have been sharing their regenerative powers since far-back 1765. The water, rich in sulphur, fluoride, magnesium, calcium and other rare mineral salts, flows directly to our spa, where it is the basis for our exclusive treatments. A natural treasure which we share with you every day: Only here can you taste it and plunge into it, to detoxify your body, release tension, improve digestion and much, much more. Here, we blend the ancient holistic practices which have been passed down to us over the years with modern technology and methods in a fusion which allows us to step away from conventional, pre-conceived models and embrace a true solution which, in turn, embraces life itself. Inner and outer harmony and a mind-spirit-body balance leads to true holistic wellbeing and optimum results.
At the Termesana centre, our professional team offers you tailored solutions and unique, personalised treatments.
Wellness & Spa Hotel in Sesto with own Sulphur Source

If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water Loren Eiseley
Our water, precious elixir, has been classified as highly mineralised: Sulphur, fluoride, calcium and traces of iron, this rare source of life abounds with hygiene and health. The indisputable heart of the Termesana, it can be used for beauty baths and inhaled to give you innumerable benefit at all levels of being.
Digestive system - The use of sulphur water is of enormous and varied benefit to the digestive system, with numerous positive effects on the digestive and assimilative processes.
Respiratory System - When inhaled, the anti-inflammatory, mucolytic properties of these waters have a trophic effect on respiratory mucosa.
Musculoskeletal system - Bathing in sulphur waters at a temperature of 35-37° has a therapeutic effect: It loosens muscles and has a pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory effect on the joints. Recent studies have demonstrated the positive effect of these waters on cartilage damage related to osteoarthrosis.
Integumentary system - Used in bathing treatments, these waters favour a number of skin processes, including reactivation of microcirculation with a resultant improvement of trophism and capillary tone, and intense detoxification. Regeneration of skin cells is also stimulated.
Mothers and babies - Due to its high fluoride content, this water is ideal for the prevention of caries in children. As a drink, it is also of great benefit to pregnant women.

History of the Bad Moos Dolomites Spa Resorts in Sesto
The spring water of the former "Bauernbadl" has been used since 2005 in the wellness and health center of the Dolomites Spa Resort.
Erwin Lanzinger - Hotelier and tourism visionary. In 2015, the Bad Moos – Dolomites Spa Resort lost its founder, and the Drei Zinnen region lost a great tourism professional. Without a doubt, our boss, who was also president of the Hochpustertal tourism association for many years, enjoyed the status of a tourism pioneer. With his vision, his tireless commitment and his fighting spirit he paved the way for developments that have had a lasting impact. He combined courage, tenacity and directness with charm, intelligence and cosmopolitanism. He was always an opinion leader – a “free spirit”, as he described himself. And a bon vivant. The ambitious hotelier also set new standards in the area of spa facilities. At the end of the 1970s his hotel boasted the first sauna area in South Tyrol. He had the first jacuzzi imported from America at a time when most people hadn’t heard of them. Erwin Lanzinger was largely responsible for linking up the ski infrastructure of the Helm and Rotwand ski resorts.
His two philosophies of life can be summarised in two short statements: “If I want to be successful in the tourism business, I need to be up at the front having a say!” and “Fortune favours the brave!”
Legends and Histories of the Bad Moos Dolomites Spa Resort
The architects of the Hotel Bad Moos in Sesto paid special attention to the natural surroundings of the hotel - Hugo Julius & Hanspeter Demetz.
An old legend recounts that two stags used to meet by full moonlight at the sulphurous water spring in Bad Moos and drink from it. They were always the strongest and largest in the whole region. This observation made the "little spa" famous throughout Tyrol. But then wars and turmoil came to the land and the deer vanished. It was not until some two centuries ago that deer were again sighted in the area, and today they range, strong and mighty, through the forests around the Bad Moos spring. A good sign, a wonderful sign... It gives us a congenial reason to design the new BAD MOOS.
UNESCO World Heritage Site - Dolomites of Sesto Nature Park
The Dolomites Spa Resort Bad Moos is located in the heart of the Dolomites of Sesto with stunning views of the three peaks of Lavaredo, which belong to the most beautiful mountain groups in South Tyrol.
A holiday in a world heritage site. The Bad Moos – Dolomites Spa Resort is located in a unique area of countryside, in the middle of the Drei Zinnen Nature Park, part of the Dolomites UNESCO world heritage site. The peaks of the Rotwand and Dreischuster watch over our resort at the entrance to the wild and romantic Fischlein Valley. Behind them rise the famous three peaks of the Drei Zinnen, while on the other side of the valley, the Carnic ridge marks the Austrian border. Following requests by the Italian provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino, Pordenone, Udine and Belluno, the Dolomites were awarded world heritage site status by UNESCO in 2009. UNESCO did not grant protected status to the whole of this famous mountain chain in the southern limestone alps, with its unique geological and botanical features. However, the world heritage site does cover a large area of 141,910 hectares, including the northern Dolomites and the Drei Zinnen area.
