Seduces All Five Senses
Its name honours the five friends who were the founding members. On the label, they are represented by five grape leaves that resemble stars.
It all began as far back as in 1964, thanks to the true passion of five oenologists who shared an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of winemaking and were keen to produce a high-quality classic-method sparkling wine.
They travelled all over Europe and studied all the widely-recognised grape-growing and winemaking practices. After exhaustive research, they chose Lavis, a small village in the Trentino region, where they began their adventure.

Classic Method Sparkling
The production method of Equipe 5, a classic-method sparkling wine, requires the noble grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and refermentation in the bottle. The whole clusters are given a gentle pressing and only the fi nest fraction of the juice, the free-run must, goes to make Equipe 5.
Following the initial fermentation of the base-wines and their assembling into fi nal cuvée, the wine is bottled in the classic champagne bottle. It is dark green in colour to protect the wine from damage by light, and its thickness resists the internal pressure and subsequent handling during the steps of the production process.
The sealed bottles are then stacked horizontally in the caves of Borgo Rocca Sveva and kept at a constant temperature of 13-14°C., while the wine undergoes a slow secondary fermentation.
Equipe 5 is a sparkling wine that is vintage-dated to indicate the growing year of the grapes and the period of in-bottle maturation, which for Equipe 5 is always more than 36 months.
Brut Reserve
Chardonnay 80 %, Pinot Nero 20 %. The wine appears a luminous straw yellow; it releases rich notes of yeast, fresh-baked bread and crisp fruit, along with subtle nuances of citrus. The palate is crisply refreshing and vivacious, with a caressingly soft mousse, well-defi ned character and a long-lingering finish.
