Vineyard Location: Vigna del Portico - Calvignano

Soil Type and Exposure: Brown soil - limestone, clay, on marl and sandstone. Facing south-east at 220 m above sea level.

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Denomination: DOCG (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin)

Cultivation Method and Planting Density: Spurred cordons with 4,800 vines per hectare.

Maximum Yield per Hectare: 5,000 litres

Grape Harvest: Traditional, hand-picking in the second half of August

Wine Making: White with soft pressing and fermentation of only 50% of the free-running mustextract. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks

Bottling: In late Spring, the best Pinot Noirs obtained from the wine cellar selection of the best vintages are blended and bottled.
