Description

Bellavista - Surprising Personality and Character, Grace and Lightness: The Unique Style of Franciacorta

It was born in Franciacorta in 1977 by the will of the entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, who decided that year to transform a small wine business founded on a few hectares owned by the family into a company. They are located on the Bellavista hill, so named for the splendid position that, from a single point, embraces Lake Iseo and the entire Po valley up to the Alps. With foresight, Vittorio Moretti pays particular attention to the purchase of new vineyards up to the current 203 hectares of vineyards, included in the area of vocation of the "Franciacorta".

Bellavista - Curtefranca Vigna Uccellanda - Franciacorta - D.O.C. - White Wines - Luxury Limited Edition - 750 ml

This wine takes its name from the vineyard where the grapes are harvested: 4.14 hectares at about 300 meters high, among the brightest and sunniest in Franciacorta. The substrate consists of glacial deposits rich in carbonate and characterized by sandy-silty granulometries, compacted with gravels from the load produced by the glacier. Chardonnay in purity, ferments and ages for one year in small oak barrels with a capacity of 228 liters, before resting for at least 2 years in the bottle. The golden yellow color announces ample, sweet and refined aromas, in which the delicate hints of vanilla embrace sensations of quince and well-ripened citrus fruits. The mouth, creamy and enveloping, soft and silky, is structured as it is dynamic, deep in aromatic memories.
