Bellavista - Surprising Personality and Character, Grace and Lightness: The Unique Style of Franciacorta

It was born in Franciacorta in 1977 by the will of the entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, who decided that year to transform a small wine business founded on a few hectares owned by the family into a company. They are located on the Bellavista hill, so named for the splendid position that, from a single point, embraces Lake Iseo and the entire Po valley up to the Alps. With foresight, Vittorio Moretti pays particular attention to the purchase of new vineyards up to the current 203 hectares of vineyards, included in the area of vocation of the "Franciacorta".

In Lucretius's De Rerum Natura, Alma is the name used to designate Venus who generates and gives life. A spirit that expresses the essence of Bellavista and his oenological style, embodied by this still white wine. A pure Chardonnay, a union of the characters of 4 distinct terraced vineyards, similar in terms of exposure, ventilation and texture. The musts ferment and refine in small oak barrels for the most appropriate time to achieve perfect aromatic and gustatory stability. At the end of the itinerary, the wine shows a straw-yellow color with beautiful greenish streaks, captivating aromas of flowers and mixed citrus fruits, summed up in a clear, full and inviting sip. Here the sensations become progressively warmer and more complex, until they reach notes of acacia honey and hazelnut. The texture is fine and silky, the final persistence is remarkable.

The vital spirit, the soul of Bellavista and its oenological style. With this name, flanked by the term “terra”, we designate the still white, pure chardonnay, which is composed through the character of four distinct terraced vineyards, similar in terms of exposure, ventilation and texture.

From their union, a white curtefranca is born that reveals its inimitable origin: the most beautiful emotion a wine can provide.

Straw yellow with light greenish reflections. Floral and fruity on the nose, characterized by hints of acacia, wisteria, grapefruit and yellow plums. The taste is lively and elegant, supported by an extraordinary freshness and a beautiful aromatic concentration. Good persistence.
