Biodiverse Farm
Wo We Are
We live and work in the fertile and prosperous Treviso plains, situated among the Montello rolling hills and the mighty, stony river Piave.
Since we were children we had the luck to live tucked away in the wonderful world of nature among vineyards, orchards, cows and hens: at that time we already started to think to keep living here. The possibility of working everyday tucked away into nature, sharing and respecting its ancient and immutable rhythm, being its allies and friends was the life that we dreamt about.
For this reason, 25 years ago we created our farm located in Villorba, a small town near Treviso.
Our principal occupation - and biggest satisfaction - is to cultivate vegetable gardens and orchards, making them luxuriant and healthy. We can't forget the arable fields for a needful rotation, the vineyards for our production of Merlot and Prosecco DOC wines and the organic honey that our bees - amazing helpers in nature - give us.
We cultivate 60 hectares of fields following an ancient knowledge. It's very difficult for us to irrigate our fields due to their stony land; on the other hand, they give mineral properties to our crops, making them more tasty. We work in harmony with all the living species who populate our natural ecosystem and we protect them everyday.

Farm Made
The Farm-Made in our company was born with the idea of planting ancient orchards, like: grapes, apples, pears, figs, peaches, apricots, wild plums, blackberries and wild berries in order to increase biodiversity.
These orchards give us delicious and tasty seasonal fruits, completely natural and for this reason they don't always look perfect.
We thought to turn these precious gifts of nature - which are fragrant, genuine and rich in vitamins - into compotes, to give everyone the possibility of tasting these ancient flavours. My daughter Eva and I, Sonia (both passionate of healthy and natural cuisine) gave life to a well equipped kitchen in the countryside, located next to our store.
Here we experiment with new ideas everyday; we have fun preparing not only fruit compotes, but also: marinated vegetables, special herb teas (like the Radicchio one), ready-to-cook raw soups and many other dishes.
Store
Full of windows, so that we can admire the nature that sorrounds us anytime. Furnished and decorated with different kinds of wood, doors and old containers, all repainted and fixed by us. In winter there's a fireplace for heating...
We're describing you our store, where we expose: our fresh products (just picked up from the plant), our wines, our craft beers, our organic honeys and where - in a well-equipped pantry - there are our fruit compotes, marinated vegetables, vegetable creams and other preserves, all directly prepared by us in a healthy way. You can also find other products made by some Italian Farms.
Here we welcome our guests, with whom we like to share not only the fruits of nature, but also a moment of serenity, happiness and mutual enrichment.
We love meeting new people and we try to give them all of our care and availability in order to offer them everything they need. In our store people are free to personally choose the products and to do shopping with no rush. We are always there to help them and suggest them new recipes.

The discovery of the asparagus was completely random. It seems that after a strong hailstorm that ruined the harvest, a farmer chose to extract and taste the underground part of the asparagus, the white one, discovering it very good. From that day on, the peasants decided to catch it before it came out of the ground. And we too have hidden the asparagus,...
