Sweet Compotes Organic - 80 % Minimum Fruit
In our Farm-made kitchen we prepare our sweet compotes through low temperatures cooking and in a vacuum; then we quickly pasteurize them at 80°C (for storability) and after that we immediately cool them down; in this way we manage to keep the fruits' properties as much as possible. Our fruit compotes (which are similar to jam, but with much less sugar) are made of at least 80% fruit, Sicilian lemons' juice, organic brown sugar and natural apple pectin. We use only our own production fruit (which is also Biodiversity-friend certified).
In some cases we use a small percentage of fruit from other Farms that we personally select and which share our philosophy. User advice: the product, having a low percentage of sugar, doesn't last long: for this reason it's better to keep it in the fridge and to consume it within 10 days. We also recommend you to always use a clean spoon to avoid external contaminations.
Sweet Compote with Apricot and Chamomile
Sweet apricot compote and chamomile syrup.
Ingredients
Apricots (75%), chamomile syrup (10%) (organic cane sugar, water, chamomile flowers, lemon leaves), lemon, natural apple and citrus pectin.
Appearance and Features
The preserved product is the result of the cooking of apricots, apricots from ancient varieties and chamomile syrup (organic cane sugar, water, chamomile flowers, lemon leaves) in vacuum and at low temperature. It has a bright orange color, a velvety and delicate palate with a fresh camomile aftertaste, with a sweet taste and an intense aroma.
Use Mode
For its delicate flavor our sweet apricot and chamomile compote is ideal combined with focaccia or for the filling of croissants. Excellent tasted simply by itself or spread on the brioche bread. It is advisable to consume it at room temperature or refrigerator, once opened keep it in the refrigerator and consume it within a few days; we recommend always using a clean teaspoon to avoid external contamination.
