The Tavolilere delle Puglie [The Apulian Plains] were used for years as winter pastures for flocks coming from the cold mountains of the Abruzzi. And so begins the story of our family and this company. In the middle of the last century, Grandma Giulia and Granddad Pietro devoted their time to rearing livestock and farming; today, thanks to the commitment, work and dedication of their children and grandchildren, BioOrto is one of Europe’s leading companies in terms of production and sale of organically grown fruit and vegetables.
