This area is also well know for its traditon with olive oil so alongside with the vegetables, Bio Orto also produce organic extravirgin oil: follows a strictly controlled process in all its phases to obtain a high quality oil.

The Peranzana variety olives are picked at the right point of ripeness and processed within 24/48 hours in our farm with a continuous system. The BioOrto oil flavour is fruity, with a very balanced taste, very low acidity, elegant that goes well with a wide range of dishes.

Made with organic Orto tomatoes, grown on the slopes of the Gargano, the organic tomato puree is a high quality organic product guaranteed by the only two natural ingredients of which it is made, tomato and salt, and the processing method which focuses on craftsmanship industrial.

Ready to be used and ideal for long cooking, this puree, in addition to being without preservatives and added sugars, thanks to the tomato, has one of the highest Lycopene indexes found in products of the same type, even reaching 243 mg/kg. Lycopene, with its very high antioxidant properties, helps fight aging and helps prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Pairings: ideal for the preparation of ragù, lasagne, aubergine parmigiana, Sorrento gnocchi and tomato gazpacho.

Harvest period: July/August.

Storage: store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of light and heat. Once opened, keep in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.
