This area is also well know for its traditon with olive oil so alongside with the vegetables, Bio Orto also produce organic extravirgin oil: follows a strictly controlled process in all its phases to obtain a high quality oil.

The Peranzana variety olives are picked at the right point of ripeness and processed within 24/48 hours in our farm with a continuous system. The BioOrto oil flavour is fruity, with a very balanced taste, very low acidity, elegant that goes well with a wide range of dishes.

The freshness of the freshly harvested basil, entirely by hand in the company's fields on the slopes of the Gargano, is enhanced by ingredients such as Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, pecorino cheese, pine nuts and organic EVO oil.

Ready to use and with a genuine flavour, Bio Orto's organic basil pesto, in versions with or without garlic, is a high quality product that enhances and keeps intact the organoleptic properties of the ingredients used thanks to a cold working process which enhances its flavors and aromas.

Ingredients: Organic basil (49.7% in the version with garlic, 49.8% in the version without garlic), Organic EVO oil, Organic Parmigiano Reggiano DOP cheese* (milk*, salt, rennet), Organic pecorino cheese* (milk* , salt, rennet), salt, organic pine nuts; in the version with garlic, organic garlic (0.2%). Acidity regulator: lactic acid.

Pairings: ideal not only as a condiment for pasta, but also if spread on a slice of hot bread with cherry tomatoes and burrata or mozzarella with the addition of a drizzle of oil.

Storage: store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of light and heat. Once opened, keep in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.
