Also for this pickle the most important ingredient is the used raw material. Nothing to do with the classical pickled red onions to be found into any supermarket or big distribution.

On tasting, they are really crispy, well aromatic, and vinegar isn’t too strong but right sour and spicy thanks to other ingredients as black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, thyme and laurel. They go very well with boiled hen, boiled beef, but also with other meat and fish preparations.

Ingredients: Onions (48%), Chianti docg vinegar  (47%), bay leaves, cinnamon, thyme, pepper, cloves, salt.
