Italia Independent - Made in Italy 2.0
The mission and philosophy of Italia Independent are largely described by its name. Italy is not only the place where the company is based and operates, but it’s also the main inspiring place and the moving force of the brand. I-I is a brand that aims to reload Made in Italy and create “Made in Italy 2.0”.
Today a product or brand is perceived as new only if its materials and functionalities are innovative, without however jeopardizing its true Italian roots. Italia Independent believes that creativity today lies in remixing different experiences and styles.
The association of materials from different origins and the fusion of tradition with innovation are the project’s philosophy and values. We strongly believe that our brand, although focused on eyewear, should be 360-degree effective from clothing to home decor, from glasses to cars, and this is what we do.
Italia Independent - Enzo 007LP - Laps Collection
To represent Italy and the elegance of the Italian soul, in 2018 we created three models of glasses dedicated to the vintage icons of our country. One of these is "Enzo", rectangular sunglasses alone entitled to Enzo Ferrari; a unique item of its kind, entirely made in Italy.
The Enzo sunglasses have:
- handmade cellulose acetate frame in Italy
- four lenses, two frontal and two lateral
- Italia Independent logo in high relief on both auctions
The Enzo sunglasses of the Laps Collection have four lenses, two frontal and two on the temples. The frame is in cellulose acetate and one of the temples is embellished with the metal plate signed "Laps Collection". Wearing glasses Enzo implies a certain amount of security and awareness because, as Lapo Elkann recalled when the collection came out, "there is no future without the past" - "no Future without a Past".
