Bottega - Family Vintners & Master Distillers since 1935
Bottega S.p.A. it is at the same time a winery and a distillery, which has a close-knit team of expert winemakers both in winemaking and in distillation. The headquarters is located in Bibano di Godega (TV), in the Doc Prosecco area, 50 km north of Venice. The company was founded in 1977 by Aldo Bottega, master distiller with more than thirty years of experience in the field, which he had inherited from his grandfather, an expert wine merchant during the '20s, the passion for the world of wine. At the end of the '70s the company is a small company operating in the local grappa market.
In 1983, on the death of the founder, his son Sandro, together with his brothers Barbara and Stefano, took over the company. From an artisan reality, which operated only in the world of grappa, it has transformed over the years into one of the first 20 private wineries and distilleries. In the duty free and travel retail channel it has burned down the stages and, as far as sparkling wines are concerned, has become the second brand in the world, after a well-known Champagne brand. The unmistakable Bottega Gold, a Prosecco Doc characterized by the bottle with golden livery, is an icon of style that is appreciated throughout the world as an expression of the best Made in Italy.
Bottega - Distilled Dry Gin - Liqueurs and Spirits
Gin is a strong and aromatic distillate. Its origin is linked to a Dutch professor of medicine and physics, Franciscus De La Boe, who deepened and studied the properties of juniper essential oils, obtained by redistilling an infusion of these macerated berries in pure alcohol.
It was then used by English soldiers returning from the Netherlands and in England it soon became a very well known drink.
Bottega - Gin-Co Liquor Bottega - Coffee Cream with Ginseng Bottega - Liqueurs and Spirits
The Gin-Co Liquor is a ginseng coffee cream born from the collaboration between Distilleria Bottega and NatFood, which share in this project their innovative spirit and almost ten-year experience in the production field.
It is obtained from the pure ginseng root and top quality coffee beans, carefully selected, from which the best of their aroma is extracted through a long maceration in a water-alcohol solution. Following the distillation, it is mixed with a sweet and delicate cream of milk from the Alps which helps to enrich this grappa with fascinating sensory nuances.
Light brown in color, it gives off an intense ginseng scent on the nose which is enriched with an elegant hint of lightly toasted coffee. On the palate it is creamy, soft, pleasantly sweet, with a finish of absolute fragrance and persistence that concludes with notes of caramel.
Perfect to serve cold at the end of a meal or as an ingredient for cocktails and long drinks, it is particularly suitable for correcting ginseng coffee.

Features
The Distilled Dry Gin Bacur owes its unique character to the botanicals with which it is produced. The juniper berries, sage leaves and lemon peels are left to macerate for a long time in a hydroalcoholic solution and then proceed to a double distillation which, purifying the liquid from any undesired scents, allows to obtain an elegant distillate with a fine bouquet it's clean. The final character of this gin, therefore, is linked to its components but its quality and complexity depend not only on the number of plants used but also on the conditions of extraction of the aromatic components from each of them.
