The Netatmo Smart Smoke Detector is a photoelectric (optical) smoke detector that improves the safety of your home. When a fire breaks out and the detector goes off, the Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm sends real-time notifications directly to your smartphone. In this way, you can intervene even when you are not at home.

The Battery Life is 10 Years*

Due to how quickly detector batteries drain, many people don't replace them often. In the event of a fire, the detectors cannot therefore raise the alarm. Where to Install the Smart Smoke Detector?

For your safety and security a Smart Smoke Alarm should be installed in every bedroom and hallway. For maximum safety, install an additional Smart Smoke Alarm in the living room, attic and cellar as well. Depending on your country of residence, local regulations may apply. Check the regulations in your country regarding smoke detectors.

Automatic Check Functionality

Ever had to make sure your smoke detector was working properly? The Smart Smoke Alarm constantly monitors the battery, smoke detectors and Wi-Fi connection and immediately sends an alert to your smartphone if there is a problem with any of these three elements.

Low Battery Notification

The Smart Smoke Alarm notifies you on your smartphone when the battery is nearing the end of its 10-year lifespan* and when the device needs to be replaced.

Sound Test Reminder

Set monthly, biennial or yearly notifications from the app to remind you to test your Smart Smoke Alarm. Netatmo recommends testing the sound of the Smart Smoke Detector at least once a year.
