Le Filigare - Romance, Elegance, Relax
Le Filigare is the name of the hill where the agriturismo in Chianti, between Siena and Florence, is located. The main hamlet dates back to XVII century and was known in the area as Fiaccole di Sopra. The name derives from a slang term which means “upper torch”. Long time ago during the commemoration of the Patron Saint, the hamlet, located on a dominant position, used to be lit with fire torches and locals used to gather here to celebrate.
The wine is clear, bright ruby red in color. It shows personality on the nose, with intense ripe fruity aromas of blackberry, followed by floreal notes of dried violet and rose with fresh balsamic aromas. Elegant on the palat, aristocratic with velvet tannins; perfectly balanced with harmonious and lingering, mentholated finish.
Clear ruby red; floreal, fruity and intense on the nose: violet, marasca cherry and cassis followed by spicy aromas ending on balsamic notes. The attack on the palat is fresh and fruity with elegant tannins; well - balanced, with a long finish recalling fruity sensation.
Deep and bright ruby color. Intense and complex olfactory impact; rich red and black pulp together with cinnamon, tobacco, liquorice and mint notes. Sumptuous, rounded and fresh taste with well integrated tannins. Wine with a great balance and with a very long end with fruity and spiced memories.
Firm consistent ruby red. Intense, complex to the nose with clear overtones of cut flowers, ripe woodland fruit and dried plum, accompanied by elegant spice notes of black pepper, cloves and incense. Soft and elegant on the palat with velvet tannins. Long persistent with fruity and sweet spice aftertaste.
Intense full-bodied ruby red. Strong and intense scent of woodland fruits, leather and chocolate ending on balsamic notes of eucalyptus and damp earth. Powerfull and elegant on the palate, warm, sustained tannins and very long at the finish.
Bright feeble pink / copper color with fine and persistent bead (or “perlage”). Floral, wild strawberries, bread crust fragrances with citrus scents on the nose. Rich and elegant in the mouth, characterized by a pleasant fresh tension and with a long and mineral end, that perfectly express the characteristics of the vine variety.
Bright amber color, with charming fig, dried and candied fruit aromas and with unworldly and acacia honey notes. Warm and soft in the mouth, with a sweetness balanced by a delicate freshness. The final taste is dry and clean with a pleasant come back of toasted almond and dried fruit.
Colorless, crystalline, typical violet aroma with notes of red fruits coming from Sangiovese. Soft and well structured in the mouth, with winy shades and mixed berries aromas, and at the end with liquorice scents: remarkable persistence in mouth.
Intense golden color with amber glares, the aromas is marked by notes of dried fruit, vanilla, tobacco and sweet spices, developed through the wise aging in wood. The taste is elegantly silky, soft and well structured with characteristics that is reminiscent of straw wines; spirit for meditation that is also suitable to be tasted after meal or in company...
Intense amber color, the aroma is marked by fruity notes and spices with a pleasant heavenly scent. The taste is warm, enchanting, soft and persuasive, with a come back of complex aromas of tobacco, caramel, and liquorice. Brandy for meditation and meal end, to be tried also with high quality chocolate ( 70% cacao).
