Boe Szyslak (from the tenth season Boh, pronounced /'sɪz.læk/) is an imaginary character from the animated series The Simpsons and the original voice is by Hank Azaria. Although his name in the original version is Moe (abbreviation of Morris) Tonino Accolla has decided to change its name to Boe because according to him the original sounded like the word mo 'in Neapolitan or Roman, resulting embarrassing. Boe is the owner and host of the "Tavern of Boe", a Springfield tavern frequented among others by Homer Simpson, Barney Gumble, Sam and Larry, Lenny Leonard and Carl Carlson (these are among his best customers, as they pass great part of their free time in the club, and Barney seems to live practically). He always owns a shotgun, which he keeps under the bar counter, which just pulls out some criminal trying to rob him.
