In the mid-800 Bortolo Zanin opened an inn, which offered, between the various local food and drinks, even the "white spirit". Zugliano people developped a passion for the "graspe" so much that Bortolo decided to begin to expand the production of distillates. In the '40s, with the inn all in all closed, the son Rino continued the expansion activity of the distillery and aging of destillates, leading to fame the Cavallina Bianca brand. In the '70s, with Fausto Zanin the company expands abroad, in 38 countries. Today the distillery is led by Piero Zanin and his brother-in-law Massimo Fontana, which have enlarged the production to new premises in Zugliano, restoring the old mill acquired by father Fausto. Four generations linked by the same passion, illustrated in the essence of every drop labeled Zanin 1895.

Cavallina Bianca

Cavallina Bianca Grappa Blend 18 - Reserve Grappa

Grappa Cavallina Bianca Blend 18, created by the younger sister "the young White Horse Blend 4" but aging for at least 18 months in small oak barrels.

Also appreciated by women who usually taste sweeter products because of its softness, it is a "ruffiana" brandy. You can drink it in purity, with ice or as a correction in coffee.

It has a dark color given by the barrels and hints of soft wood. Dark amber in color, it has an intense, enveloping aroma with spicy and chocolate notes and which recalls red fruit while the taste is very soft and velvety with hints of maraschino and sweet tobacco.

It has a very persistent aftertaste of spices and jam, it is a grappa of 41.5 ° of alcohol content, we recommend the service at a temperature of 18-20 ° C.

La Grappa Cavallina Bianca Blend 18 of the Zanin Distillery is produced starting from the little brother "the young White Horse Blend 4", which ages for 12 months in oak barrels. This is followed by another 6 months in new cherry barriques. These give the product an even darker color and a sweet and woody flavor. It has a dark amber color and a scent reminiscent of red fruits. The taste is soft and velvety.
