Description

The White Vermouth of Prato goes back to an old farm tradition nowadays disappeared: it was produced by a farmer's wife with white grapes not yet ripe and herbs harvested in the fields and served as an aperitif or digestif during Christmas holidays.

The uniqueness of this product is not only linked to the ingredients but also to the transformation process and the tools used.

The entire process was carried out only by expert hands without mechanical help and so also today, it is entirely handmade following the ancient recipe of 1750.

In a typical Tuscan white wine, aromatic herbs, natural officinalis and different types of spices are macerated for the required time after having been pressed with a marble pestle:

Elecampane, gentian, galanga, cinnamon, aromatic calamus, cloves, centaurea, artemisia, coriander, nutmeg, rind of citron, bitter and sweet orange, dry skins of quince peach.

All is then completed by adding a bit of sugar and just a bit of alcohol; it is left to ripen for a few days and then filtered and bottled according to the ancient tradition.

The Vermouth obtained has a yellow color slightly amber, sugary taste with a slightly sour note and a slightly pleasant bitter aftertaste, intense and fruity smell with an alcoholic tenor of 15 grades.

Drink as a fresh aperitif or after a meal together with biscuits, try it with spiced chocolate or with herb based cheese, not too sapid.

Perfect stand alone, in every moment of the day to pause and taste the taste of life, a life that is always more frenetic and smooth.

Serve slightly fresh in wide tulip wine glasses.

Ingredients: Tuscan white wine(Trebbiano, Chardonnay), alcohol, sugar, enula cinnamon, calamus, centaury, coriander, gentian, pontic and romanwormwood, galangal, cloves, nutmeg, lemon peel, sweet orange peelsweet, bitter orange peel.

Alcool 15,5% vol.
