Realized in a fortified masseria of the 17th century, Il Melograno plunges between colors and scents of the large flower garden, in extraordinary harmony with the surrounding area, rich in history and great artistic interest and landscape.
Il Melograno is the ideal place for relaxing, a typical Apulian flavor masseria where the cuisine features a Mediterranean culinary tradition with dishes reinvented with care and originality, using local products.
Il Melograno has a long history that began in the sixteenth century when, on commission of the Knights of Malta, following the implementation, called it "La Torricella" for its characteristic fortified tower structure. The charm of the antique furniture merges beautifully with the typical candor of Mediterranean buildings.
The beauty of the Masseria is that it's completely surrounded by nature: Mediterranean plants, made unique by olive trees, almond trees, prickly pears and an old citrus grove, that frame the outdoor pool and two lighted tennis courts.
Dinner is served in the garden at Hotel Il Melograno. Guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool and in the wellness centre with gym, Turkish bath and sauna, available at an extra cost.
Puglia's coastline and a range of sandy beaches are just 10 minutes' drive away. Both Bari and Brindisi airports are less than one hour's drive away.
