Clinique is a cosmetic and perfumery company that was founded by Esteé Lauder in 1968. Everything stems from the decision of the Esteé Lauder company to hire, in those years, a famous doctor who would take care of creating the whole Clinique line: Norman Orentreich. He founded Clinique Laboratories, which opened his first shop in New York on Saks Fifth Avenue in those years and specialized in the creation of hypoallergenic and perfume-free cosmetics. The brand was immediately very successful and during the seventies it also expanded with a line of perfumes and cosmetics dedicated to men. It was the first clinically formulated cosmetic brand, with products tested against allergies and 100 % perfume-free. It had an immediate success among consumers considering it a reliable brand.

What It Does

Silky eyeliner pencil lines and defines with ease. Delivers long-wearing color: transfer-resistant, water-resistant, smudge-resistant. Inspires creativity: smudge tool on opposite end helps create a variety of looks. Gives you time to play: formula allows 60 seconds for blending and smudging before setting.

How To Use

- Swivel up only 1/8-inch (pencil does not retract to avoid exposing formula to air, which is drying).

- Line eyes.

- Use the smudging tool on the opposite end to gently smudge colour to desired effect.

- Allow colour to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance.

- Recap securely after using to protect the silky formula.

- Can be used alone or over eye shadow.

- Remove with your favourite Clinique eye makeup remover.
