CULTI MILANO was born of an intuition from the eclectic mind of Alessandro Agrati: namely his perception, which was incredibly ahead of its time, that spaces and objects might have their own scent too; that it was possible to surround oneself with olfactory quality, in addition to beautiful things in pleasant rooms.

It was 1988 when Agrati embarked upon his personal research into the link between the design world and the world of the senses, something that would revolutionise the very way in which people experience spaces and objects. The idea of creating a Culture of ambience, which incredibly enough was lacking in our world, in this era. 

CULTI offers a completely new concept of perfumery: bouquets are unnecessary when we have access to such incredibly simple and recognisable fragrances, like the unique inimitable raw materials given to us by nature and by Italy.

Irises outlines with its notes the delicate beauty of the purple flowers that inspired Van Gogh: the powdery heart of the iris, supported by vetiver and gayac wood, is caressed by the fresh opening of bergamot, cedar leaves and bitter orange . The whole rests on a solid base of cedar and labdanum wood.

Switching The Reeds

The frequency with which the reeds need to be switched, determines the intensity of the fragrance, the more they are being switched, the stronger the fragrance will be. To moderate the fragrance’s diffusion, you may overturn only few reeds at a time.

The Duration of The Fragrance

he dimensions of the space, the high temperature, the direct sunlight, the exposure to air currents are factors that can accelerate the evaporation and therefore reduce the duration of the fragrance. Position the diffuser away from light, heat sources and currents and evaluate the format of the diffuser according to the appropriate size of the space.

Suggestions for An Endless Fragrance

In order to prolong the duration and reduce the evaporation of the fragrance, it is recommended to keep the liquid in the bottle at the level of the curve. It will be sufficient to purchase a refill of the same fragrance and to pour it frequently into the bottle.
