CULTI MILANO was born of an intuition from the eclectic mind of Alessandro Agrati: namely his perception, which was incredibly ahead of its time, that spaces and objects might have their own scent too; that it was possible to surround oneself with olfactory quality, in addition to beautiful things in pleasant rooms.

It was 1988 when Agrati embarked upon his personal research into the link between the design world and the world of the senses, something that would revolutionise the very way in which people experience spaces and objects. The idea of creating a Culture of ambience, which incredibly enough was lacking in our world, in this era. 

CULTI offers a completely new concept of perfumery: bouquets are unnecessary when we have access to such incredibly simple and recognisable fragrances, like the unique inimitable raw materials given to us by nature and by Italy.

The iconic Black Label line, with black squared bottles varnished with an opaque effect, is becoming larger presenting the two most desirable fragrances of Culti Milano: dynamic Aramara and delciate Tessuto. In the Magnum and 500ml dimension, the Black Label line adds to the location a decisive character. Culti's Stile bottle changes its suit and wears black. The glass and maple cap have an opaque effect giving the bottle a classy appearance with a determined character, which reminds the Black Label line. Inside you can find the two most desirable Culti's fragrances: dynamic Aramara and delicate Tessuto.

A unique fragrance, created in Como as a tribute to the most precious and natural fibres. Its pervading fragrance is ‘woven’ from bergamot, cassis flowers and cotton leaves, leading to a heart of olive, jasmine and geranium and closing with a clean background of incense, cashmere wood and white musk.

Switching The Reeds

The frequency with which the reeds need to be switched, determines the intensity of the fragrance, the more they are being switched, the stronger the fragrance will be. To moderate the fragrance’s diffusion, you may overturn only few reeds at a time.

The Duration of The Fragrance

he dimensions of the space, the high temperature, the direct sunlight, the exposure to air currents are factors that can accelerate the evaporation and therefore reduce the duration of the fragrance. Position the diffuser away from light, heat sources and currents and evaluate the format of the diffuser according to the appropriate size of the space.

Suggestions for An Endless Fragrance

In order to prolong the duration and reduce the evaporation of the fragrance, it is recommended to keep the liquid in the bottle at the level of the curve. It will be sufficient to purchase a refill of the same fragrance and to pour it frequently into the bottle.
