Our Radicchio Rosso of Treviso IGP beer and Radicchio Honey beer are truly unique: they're born thanks to the collaboration with Ivan Borsato of Casa Veccia Microbrewery, with whom we like to create new products with unforgettable flavours.
Radicchio Honey Beer
It's a craft beer made with wheat and Radicchio flowers' honey. In summer, Radicchio Rosso of Treviso plants give us wonderful red/magenta flowers; during their summer life they feed bees, who give us a fragranced honey, just a little bitter. This honey, together with wheat, gives us a beer suitable for desserts. You can also enjoy it alone, for a convivial taste, but it gives its best with any kind of dessert. It contrasts the bitter taste of cocoa and accompanies the sweet taste of panettone, candied fruit and raisin. This beer is also perfect with strudel as honey and baked-apple are delicious together. The flavour is not aggressive, wheat makes it soft and honey gives it a sweetness which is not sickening.
