The Company



Our company is located in Vigonza, a small city near Padua, Veneto, Italy. We are not far from Venice, the ancient Serenissima, a crossroads of intense commercial and cultural exchanges with the East. We are specialized in the artisanal production of certified natural and organic cosmetics for face and body care. We are also a direct importer of the well-known Aleppo soap. Our products are intended for pharmacies, herbalists and beauty centers interested in offering conscious, high-quality cosmetics with a typically oriental imprint.


Quality



Isha S.r.l. takes care of the entire production process and controls in Italy according to the GMP protocol in compliance with regulation 1223/2009, as required by the same legislation. No tests are carried out on animals.


Ecology and Social Commitment



We believe that conscious cosmetics have to pay attention to the environment and its eco-sustainability.
This is why we use FSC-certified paper for our packaging.



Isha S.r.l not only scrupulously selects safe and low environmental impact raw materials, but also favors and supports cooperatives and producers that guarantee fair wages and rights to their workers.


Aleppo Soap History and Properties 



Aleppo soap is a typical product of Aleppo city in Syria. It is obtained from natural saponification by means of caustic soda in olive oil and a variable percentage of laurel oil. It is the most ancient among solid soaps. Its first evidence was found in Babylon about 2500 b.c.. French people learned soapmaking techniques from Aleppo soap at the time of Crusades when the youngest son known as ‘Marseille soap’ was born.



Aleppo soap is entirely vegetable and biodegradable with no addition of preservatives, dyes or perfumes. Laurel oil is known for its excellent anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and disinfectant properties.
Due to its propertis, Aleppo soap is indicated as natural remedy to combat eczema, psoriasis, acne and dermatitis. Emollient and gentle on the skin, it is also suitable for children, also excellent as a face mask if left on for a few minutes or as a substitute for shaving foam.
