Art-Inspired Eyewear - Handcrafted in Italy
Founded by two half-Venezuelan/Spanish siblings in Bassano del Grappa (Italy) in April 2016 with passion for authentic craftsmanship, contemporary design and supporting small enterprises with a meaningful vision, PORTRAIT Eyewear is the only brand in the eyewear market entirely influenced by contemporary art. The shapes are the result of in-depth design research with experimentation at the heart of the product, strongly influenced by art-history movements and dedicated to iconic figures. Coherent with the project’s art soul, the communication is based on the promotion of emerging artists in a fair cooperation that co- endorses both players; the brand and its fascinating testimonials.

THE AUTHOR takes its name from the archetype that embodies creativity, independence and self-expression at the highest level. These are the qualities we admire the most in authors, who are never afraid to challenge conventions and are driven by a desire to evoke emotions and connect with others.

THE DESIGNER is a reimagination of the traditional pantos shape. A popular frame among intellectuals in the early 40s, the rounded lenses and high temples had a breakthrough in pop culture and are still known as a staple in eyewear fashion to this day.
