Ferrari Trento 1902

The Excellence of The Italian Classical Method since 1902

Ferrari Trento is one of the most respected names in the Italian winemaking scene. For over a hundred years, it has represented the excellence of the Metodo Classico, combining rigorous production, pioneering vision, and profound respect for the Trentino region.

The Origins: The Dream of Giulio Ferrari

The winery was founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari, a visionary winemaker who, after training in France, recognized that the mountains of Trentino offered ideal conditions for producing great sparkling wines. His goal was ambitious: to create an Italian sparkling wine worthy of the finest Champagne.

Giulio Ferrari was among the first to believe in the potential of Chardonnay in Italy, introducing and selecting it with extreme care. His production philosophy was based on one key principle: few wines, maximum quality, no compromise.

The Territory: The Elegance of The Trentino Mountains

Ferrari's vineyards extend across the mountain slopes of Trentino, amidst high altitudes, marked temperature variations, and natural ventilation. These conditions yield grapes with remarkable freshness, the essential foundation for long-lived and extremely elegant wines.

Continuity: The Lunelli Family

In 1952, Giulio Ferrari entrusted his winery to the Lunelli family. For three generations, the Lunellis have guided Ferrari with a modern vision, never betraying the founder's legacy, bringing the Italian Metodo Classico to the highest levels of quality.

Under their guidance, Ferrari grows while maintaining a strong identity: complete control of the supply chain, rigorous grape selection, and production oriented toward absolute excellence.

The Metodo Classico as a Production Philosophy

The second fermentation in the bottle and long aging on the lees give Ferrari wines aromatic complexity, structure, and an extremely fine perlage. Time is a key element, respected as an integral part of the creative process.

The Italian Toast Par Excellence

Ferrari Trento is at the forefront of the most significant moments in Italian cultural, sporting, and institutional life. A symbol of celebration, elegance, and style, recognized worldwide as an icon of Made in Italy.

Sustainability and Future Vision

Ferrari Trento looks to the future with a responsible vision, based on environmental sustainability, landscape protection, and the valorization of the people who work in the vineyards and cellars.
