An expression of contemporary elegance, Aquazzura luxury footwear has become iconic since its debut in 2012. Handcrafted in Italy with a focus on comfort and fit, Edgardo Osorio's creations combine craftsmanship with innovative design, sophisticated details, and vibrant colors.

The first decade of extraordinary success and international recognition was crowned by the launch of two new product lines, propelling Aquazzura into the lifestyle world. In 2022, the Casa collection was introduced, four lines of tableware inspired by Edgardo Osorio's passion for interior design and tableware. The following year, the Bags collection was launched, affirming the ideal of sophisticated femininity through a day-to-night selection designed for multiple occasions.

Creative Director and Founder Edgardo Osorio, after living in Colombia, Miami, and London and working for prestigious fashion houses, decided to establish Aquazzura in Florence, the heart of Italian art and the center of artisanal leather goods production. Edgardo's entrepreneurial dream came true in the spectacular setting of Palazzo Corsini, Aquazzura's headquarters, sparking a journey of pure creativity and love for Italian savoir-faire, combining traditional techniques and luxurious materials.

The Luxury of Artisanal Creations

Aquazzura is headquartered in Palazzo Corsini, in the heart of Florence, surrounded by some of the world's finest shoemakers and artisan workshops.

All styles designed by Edgardo Osorio are handcrafted in Tuscany by master craftsmen who still use traditional techniques and the highest-quality materials. A key element that distinguishes Aquazzura creations is the direct dialogue between the designer and the artisans: each shoe is treated like a small work of art, crafted with love, passion, and the utmost attention to detail.

Balancing innovation and tradition, many models have become true icons, offering a new definition of luxury footwear. Among these are the "Sexy Thing 105," the "Wild Thing 105," the "Christy Flat," and the "Powder Puff" and "Bow Tie" models.

Perfection, Creativity, Comfort

From the initial design to the finished model, an Aquazzura shoe can require up to six months of work by specialized artisans.

Osorio's sketches are interpreted by the model makers who develop the design with the utmost attention to comfort and lightness: the new models are refined with millimeter precision, the shape is designed to distribute the body's weight across the entire surface of the foot, and the soles are padded with a soft cushion.

A single shoe can have more than 30 distinct components, mostly assembled by hand. The upper is cut and sewn using soft leathers or refined fabrics, while the soles are embellished with the brand's distinctive symbol, the golden pineapple. As a final step, each shoe is hand-inspected to ensure it is free of any imperfections.
